Chilled Pike Appetizer With Cocktail Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Fillets | 1 1/2 Pound, frozen | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Chili Sauce | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sweet pickle relish | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Prepared horseradish | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Celery | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Onion | 1 Teaspoon, grated |
Directions
Wipe fish with damp cloth or paper towel.
Bring water, salt, and garlic to boil.
Reduce heat and add fish.
Cover and simmer gently for about 8 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Cool in liquid.
Drain and flake fish.
Chill thoroughly.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients and chill.
Serve on fish flakes as appetizer.
To serve as salad, arrange fish on lettuce or other greens and top with the sauce.
