Chilled Dried Fruit Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Dried apricots | 375 Gram, halved | |
| Orange juice | 600 Milliliter | |
| A few drops almond essence | ||
| 2 tsps orange-flower water | ||
Directions
Arrange the fruit in a flat, shallow dish and cover with the fruit juice.
Add a few drops of almond essence and the orange-flower water.
Cover and leave in the refrigerator for at least 48 hours, turning from time to time.
The fruit should absorb most of the juice, but if it seems as though this isn't happening, your refrigerator is too cold; take the dish out and leave it somewhere a little warmer.
When it is time to serve the fruit, adjust the flavour with more almond essence or orange-flower water.
Serve it alone or with an elegant, buttery biscuit; shortbread would do.
