Chili Porcupine Balls Recipe

I serve the Chili Porcupine Balls whenever I want to complete my party spread with a tasty and unique dish! My family and guests loves it when I serve them the Chili Porcupine Balls You just have to try it!

Ingredients

 
1 lb. ground beef
 
1 lb. ground lean pork
 
1 beaten egg
 
1/2 c. milk
 
2/3 c. rice
 
2 tsp. chili powder
 
3 tsp. salt
 
1 No. 2 can tomatoes
 
2 1/2 c. water
 
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Directions

Mix meats; add egg, milk, rice, 1 teaspoon chili powder and 2 teaspoons salt.
Form in 11/2 inch balls.
Brown in hot fat.
Combine tomatoes, water, onion and remaining seasonings.
Bring to a boil.
Drop meatballs into sauce.
Cover; cook slowly 1 hour and 30 minutes.
