Chili Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 package (1 1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
12 taco shells
1 cup shredded lettuce
2/3 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped green pepper or onion
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar or Monterey jack cheese
Directions
Cook ground beef in 2-quart casserole at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes, or until browned.
Stir once; drain.
Add seasoning mix and water; cover with lid.
Cook at HIGH 2 minutes and at MEDIUM 5 minutes; stir once.
Stir; let stand, covered, 3 minutes.
Fill taco shells with 2 tablespoons beef mixture, then top with lettuce, tomato, green pepper and cheese
Stir once; drain.
Add seasoning mix and water; cover with lid.
Cook at HIGH 2 minutes and at MEDIUM 5 minutes; stir once.
Stir; let stand, covered, 3 minutes.
