Chili Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds firm but ripe tomatoes
4 teaspoons minced onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 or more hot chili peppers, seeded and diced
Optional:
2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
Directions
Place tomatoes in a saucepan and cover with water.
Bring to a gentle boil and simmer tomatoes 8 to 10 minutes.
Drain, cool slightly, then peel and seed the tomatoes.
Put them in a blender with all other ingredients and puree.
Pour into small bowls.
