Ingredients

 Cooked black beans1 Cup (16 tbs), drained
 Fat2 Can (10oz)
 Corn kernels3/4 Cup (16 tbs), frozen
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Corn meal3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping)
 Whole wheat flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping)
 Baking soda1 Teaspoon (Topping)
 Low fat buttermilk1 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping)
 Egg whites2 (Topping)
 Honey1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping)

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Set the oven temperature to 350°F before baking.

MAKING
2) In a small bowl, mash black beans with a fork.
3) In a 1 1/2 quart square baking dish, mix together canned chili, mashed black beans, corn and chopped onion.
4) In a small bowl, blend topping ingredients together with a fork.
5) Use this to top the chili mixture and bake for 35-40 minutes in the center of the preheated oven until topping is set and well browned.

SERVING
6) Serve hot.
