Chili Nugget Nibbles Recipe
Ingredients
| Cornmeal | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 whole medium skinned and boned chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 pound) | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green chili peppers | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
In a plastic bag combine cornmeal, chili powder, garlic salt, pepper, and red pepper.
Coat chicken pieces with melted butter or margarine.
Put pieces into bag.
Close bag and shake to coat chicken.
Place chicken pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or, till no longer pink, turning pieces once.
Meanwhile, for dipping sauce, in a small bowl stir together the sour cream and chopped green chili peppers.
Serve chicken with dipping sauce.
