Chili Non Carne Recipe
Ingredients
| Yellow onions | 3 , chopped | |
| Green peppers | 2 To taste, chopped | |
| Corn oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Kidney beans | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato puree | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 6 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Chili powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cumin powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tamari | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Blackstrap | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Marjoram | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Directions
MAKING
1.Take a large pot and heat oil in it.
2.Add onions and peppers to it and stir well.
3.Add a few drops of water if onion sticks to the base.
4.Put beans, tomato puree, garlic, chili powder, cumin powder, cumin seeds, tamari, molasses, basil, oregano, marjoram and thyme in the pot and stir well until a boil comes.
5.Once done, lower the flame and let the ingredients cook for 30- 45 minutes.
SERVING
6.Serve hot with whole wheat bread, corn bread or fill in taco.
