Chili N Rice Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped green, pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Water
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, chopped and drained; reserve liquid
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 cup rice
2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Crumble ground beef in 4-quart casserole.
Stir in green pepper, onion and garlic.
Cook at HIGH 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until beef is browned and onion is tender; stir twice.
Drain.
Add enough water to reserved liquid to equal 2 cups; add to beef and stir in remaining ingredients.
Cook, covered with lid, at HIGH 8 to 9 minutes and at MEDIUM-LOW 40 minutes, or until rice is almost tender.
Let stand, covered, 15 minutes before serving.
