Chili Croquettes With Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 c. cooked ground beef | ||
| 2 c. thick white sauce | ||
| Bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tbsp. instant minced onions | ||
| Salt | 2 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | ||
| 1 egg, lightly beaten | ||
| Milk or water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Bread crumbs | ||
Directions
Combine the first 8 ingredients and mix well.
Shape into pyramids and chill thoroughly.
Roll in flour.
Combine the egg and milk, then dip pyramids in the egg mixture and roll in crumbs.
Fry in hot deep fat for 2 minutes or until browned.
