Chili Con Turkey Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground LOUIS RICH Turkey - 1/2 pound | ||
| Onions | 2 | |
| Green bell pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Tomatoes - 1 can (16-ounce) | ||
| Kidney beans | 3 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Chili powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cumin | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Heat a saucepan, over medium high heat.
2. When the pan is hot but not smoking, add the meat and sauté it until it looses it pinkish color.
3. Stir in the remaining ingredients, breaking the tomatoes and mashing the beans with the back of the spoon.
4. Let the mixture come to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat to medium low and cover the pan. Let the meat simmer for about 25 minutes so that all the flavors are absorbed and blended.
6. Uncover the pan and cook, allowing the moisture to evaporate and the chili to thicken.
SERVING
7. Serve the Chili Con Turkey over rice, pasta, buns or with taco chips.
