Chili Con Came Recipe
Ingredients
2 tsp (10 ml) oil
1 tsp (5 ml) butter
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
2 medium-size onions, finely chopped
1/2 Cup (125 ml) celery, chopped
10 oz (284 ml) canned tomatoes
10 oz (284 ml) canned red kidney beans
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp (15 ml) prepared mustard
2 tsp (10 ml) chili powder
1 tsp (5 ml) paprika
1 tsp (5 ml) garlic salt
Directions
– In a large skillet, heat oil, melt butter and cook ground beef, onions and celery over low heat.
– Add other ingredients.
– Simmer over low heat from 25 to 30 minutes.
