Ingredients

 1 pound very lean ground beef
 Onion1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Water1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato Paste1 Can (10oz)
 Chili powder4 Teaspoon
 Green pepper1/2 , chopped
 Bay leaf1
 Sweet basil1/8 Teaspoon, dried

Directions

1. Brown meat and onion. Drain off fat.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
