Chile Flavored Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Orange zest | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Orange juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 teaspoons ground red chile, such as New Mexican, piquin or chile de Arbol | ||
| Unsalted butter | 1 pound, softened | |
| Roasted Green Chile and Spring Onion Butter | ||
| 3 New Mexican green chiles, roasted, peeled, seeded and finely chopped | ||
| 4 scallions, finely sliced, some of the greens included | ||
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them thoroughly.
Allow the butter to sit at room temperature for 1 hour to blend the flavors.
Chill the butter before serving.
