Chicken With Mushroom And Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 1/2 to 3 pounds frying chicken, cut in serving size pieces | ||
| 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup | ||
| Dry sherry | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 pound, sliced | |
| 1 teaspoon each seasoned salt and pepper | ||
| 1 teaspoon each seasoned salt and pepper | ||
Directions
Arrange chicken in baking dish, skin side down, with meatiest pieces toward outside of dish.
Sprinkle with seasonings.
Cover dish with wax paper.
Cook on high (9) for 10 minutes.
Turn pieces over.
Combine soup, wine, and mushrooms; pour over chicken.
Continue to cook, uncovered, on high (9) for 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is fork tender.
Cover with wax paper and allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
