Chicken With Cellophane Noodles Recipe
Chicken With Cellophane Noodles is a wonderful and different chicken and noodle dish. My children love this so I make it quiet frequently at home. Try the Chicken With Cellophane Noodles for yourself!
|2 whole chicken breasts|
|2 green shallots, sliced|
|Fish sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Light soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Blackpepper||1 To taste|
|Water||1/2 Cup (16 tbs)|
|125g cellophane noodles, soaked in hot water for 30 minutes|
Remove skin and bones from breasts and thighs of chicken and cut flesh into 2.5cm pieces. Heat a wok or frying pan, add the oil and swirl to coat the surface. Add the chicken pieces and shallots, and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the fish and soy sauces, a grinding of black pepper and the water. Bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes. Add the drained noodles, return to the boil and cook for a further 3 minutes. Serves 4-6.
