Chicken With Celery And Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 to 4 stalks celery, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/4 pound whole small mushrooms
1 broiler fryer chicken, skinried, boned, and cut into 1/2 inch strips
1/2 cup chicken broth or water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch, in 2 table spoons water
1/4 cup dry sherry
Directions
Heat oil in wok and stirfry celery and mushrooms 2 to 3 minutes.
Push aside.
Stirfry chicken 3 to 4 minutes or until done Combine chicken and vegetables.
Add broth, soy sauce, cornstarch mixture, and sherry.
Heat until sauce boils and is thickened, stirring constantly.
Serve at once with rice.
