Chicken With Artichokes And Grapes Recipe
|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Pound|
|Bacon slices||6 , cut up|
|Snipped tarragon/0.5 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Fresh)|
|Mushrooms/1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained||4 Ounce, sliced|
|Dry white wine/Apple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cold water||2 Tablespoon|
|Artichoke hearts||1 Can (10 oz), drained and cut into halves|
|Seedless grapes||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Green Or Red)|

Place bacon in microwavable dish, 12 X 7 1/2 X 2 inches.
Cover loosely and microwave on high until crisp, 6 to 9 minutes.
Remove with slotted spoon and drain; reserve.
Drain bacon fat from dish.
Arrange chicken pieces with thickest parts to outside edges in dish.
Mix salt, paprika and tarragon; sprinkle over chicken.
Place mushrooms on chicken.
Pour wine over chicken and mushrooms.
Cover tightly and microwave on high 10 minutes; rotate dish 1/2 turn.
Microwave until thickest pieces are done, 6 to 10 minutes.
Remove chicken; keep warm.
Mix cornstarch and cold water; stir into liquid in dish.
Microwave uncovered, stirring every minute, until slightly thickened, 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in artichokes and grapes.
Microwave uncovered 2 minutes.
Pour over chicken; sprinkle with bacon.
