| 3 pound chicken, cut into 16 pieces | ||
| Low fat yogurt | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Corn oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 well flavored apples, cored and cut into small chunks | ||
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apple Juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 ounces medium egg noodles | ||
| Ginger | 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
Directions
Remove as much skin and external fat as possible from chicken.
Heat oil in skillet large enough to hold chicken pieces in single layer.
Brown chicken on both sides in hot oil over medium heat.
Remove and set aside.
Saute onion and garlic in same pan until onion is soft.
Add to pan wine, apple juice and ginger and cook over medium high heat until liquid is reduced to 1 cup.
Stir cornstarch into yogurt.
Add to pan with apples and chicken and season with pepper.
Freeze.
