Chicken Wild Rice Skillet Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 1/2 cups water
1 6 ounce package long grain and wild rice mix
8 slices cooked chicken (about 12 ounces)
1 14 1/2 or 15 ounce can asparagus spears, drained
Directions
In large skillet cook mushrooms, onion, and celery in butter or margarine till vegetables are tender but not brown.
Add water and rice mix.
Cover and bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer 25 minutes.
Place chicken atop rice mixture; top with drained asparagus.
Cook, covered, till heated through, about 5 minutes.
Serves 4.
