Chicken On Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
2 small chickens
1 cup onions, finely grated
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
Directions
Bone the chicken and cut the meat into cubes suitable for skewering.
Blend the onion and garlic into the lemon juice and olive oil.
Add salt and marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for 2—4 hours, turning occasionally.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and thread closely together on skewers.
Barbecue for 10—15 min- utes, preferable over charcoal.
Serve with Garlic Sauce, Hoummus b'Tahini or Baba Ghannou, and Tabbouleh.
