Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
Don't be mean to your self by missing out on this Chicken Noodle Soup recipe. Even though Chicken Noodle Soup is an Appetizer I relish it any time of the day. The Chicken Noodle Soup is made with Chicken which is easily available at any grocery store. Not trying out this Chicken Noodle Soup after reading about it is one of the biggest sins you could possibly imagine of committing.
Ingredients
2- to 3-pound broiler-fryer chicken
Salt
Dash pepper
1 1/2 cups fine noodles
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
Directions
Wash chicken but do not cut up.
Cover chicken with water.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt per pound of chicken and the pepper.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken from broth; remove meat from bones and cut into small pieces.
Skim fat from broth.
Measure broth into medium saucepan (you should have about 5 cups).
Add chicken meat and remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove bay leaf before serving.
