Chicken Mousse Recipe

Over the years I have mastered the art of making Chicken Mousse which I was taught by my family elders. This Chicken Mousse is never going to fail as a Side Dish. An incredible Chicken Mousse gets its taste from Chicken. Not trying out this Chicken Mousse after reading about it is one of the biggest sins you could possibly imagine of committing.

Ingredients

 
Ground cooked chicken- 2 cups
 
Salad dressing- 1/2 cup
 
Lemon juice- 2 tablespoons
 
Ground celery seed- 3/4 teaspoon
 
Heavy cream- 3/4 cup , whipped
 
Salt, pepper- to taste
 
Gelatin- 1 1/2 tablespoons
 
Cold chicken stock- 1/2 cup
 
Lettuce, Brussels sprouts- as required
 
Carrots and parsley- as required

Directions

MAKING
1.In a blender, blend the chicken, salad dressing, lemon-juice and celery seed
2.Fold in the whipped cream
3.Season to taste
4.Now fold in the gelatin which has been softened in the cold chicken stock, dissolved over hot water, then cooled
5.In a ring mold, pour the mixture and chill until firm
6.Unmold, on lettuce, fill the center with Brussels sprouts and garnish the platter with carrots and parsley
SERVING
7.Serve with salads, sautéed spinach, or creamy sauce
