Chicken Kofta Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken | 1/2 Kilogram, minced | |
| Besan flour : 2 tbsp | ||
| Green chillies | 3 , chopped | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon, minced | |
| Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tbsp | ||
| Corriander leaves | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Turmeric pwd : 1/2 tsp | ||
| Corriander pwd : 1 tbsp | ||
| Garam masala | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli pwd : 1/2 tsp | ||
| Chopped Onions. | ||
| Tomatoes : 1cup choped | ||
| Whole cardamon : 3 | ||
| Whole Cloves | 3 | |
| Tej patta | 2 | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Frying Oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Water | ||
Directions
Clean the minched chiken. Roast the besan till it gives a nice aroma. Put together besan, salt, green corriander, chillies, ginger, garam masala.
Mix well.
Heat oil for frying. Make balls of the minced chicken mixture.
Put some balls in oil and let it cook on low heat. Turn and cook till golden brown. Take them out and keep aside.
Gravy
Heat oil, Add tej patta, caramom, cloves. Add chopped onions let them brown. Add ginger garlic paste, alongwith red chilli pwd, corriander pwd, garam masala. Fry on low tiil oil separates. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook till they becom mushy.
Now add water. Let it come to a boil. Add the balls and lower the heat. Add salt and mix. Cover and cook till done.
Serve with chapati and rice.
