Indian Chicken Lollipop Recipe Video
it is an easy to make chicken lollipop recipe. One of my favorites, this is also a very popluar Indian recipe. Please try it and let me know how Chicken Lollypop recipe turns out for you.
Ingredients
Ajinomoto (MSG) - optional
Coriander Leaves - to taste
Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup, to coat
Frenched Chicken wings – 5
Chilli Garlic Sauce
Ginger – 1, crushed
Garlic – 1, crushed
Curry Leaves
Egg – 1, beaten
Ground Chicken – ¼ pounds
Paneer – ¼ pounds
Oil
Salt
Herbs
Chilli Powder
Soy Sauce
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Cut each chicken wing into two parts, one close to the shoulder and another away from it, to make a meaty and a small lollipop each.
MAKING
2. For the stuffing, season the minced chicken with a mix of paneer, chilli powder, herbs, green chilli and salt.
3. Stuff the small lollipop with the mixture and keep aside.
4. Now season these lollipops with some soy sauce, chilli/garlic paste, ginger/garlic paste and marinate for some time.
5. To prepare the batter, stir in chilli powder, chilli/garlic sauce, salt, corn flour to the beaten egg and mix well.
6. In a wok, heat oil to medium heat (heating the oil to boiling point might result in undercooked lollipops).
7. Roll the lollipops in the batter and breadcrumbs, drop gently into the oil and fry to a golden brown-not dark brown (The Lollipops can also be made without batter/breadcrumbs-Just fry them till golden brown)
8. To make the serving sauce, sauté in some oil-cumin and crushed ginger/garlic until fragrant.
9. Add curry leaves, soy sauce, green chillies, coriander leaves chopped and Ajinomoto.
10. Toss in the fried lollipops.
SERVING
11. Serve immediately.
