Frenched Chicken wings – 5

Curry Leaves

Egg – 1, beaten

Ground Chicken – ¼ pounds

Paneer – ¼ pounds

Oil

Salt

Herbs

Chilli Powder

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Cut each chicken wing into two parts, one close to the shoulder and another away from it, to make a meaty and a small lollipop each.
MAKING
2. For the stuffing, season the minced chicken with a mix of paneer, chilli powder, herbs, green chilli and salt.
3. Stuff the small lollipop with the mixture and keep aside.
4. Now season these lollipops with some soy sauce, chilli/garlic paste, ginger/garlic paste and marinate for some time.
5. To prepare the batter, stir in chilli powder, chilli/garlic sauce, salt, corn flour to the beaten egg and mix well.
6. In a wok, heat oil to medium heat (heating the oil to boiling point might result in undercooked lollipops).
7. Roll the lollipops in the batter and breadcrumbs, drop gently into the oil and fry to a golden brown-not dark brown (The Lollipops can also be made without batter/breadcrumbs-Just fry them till golden brown)
8. To make the serving sauce, sauté in some oil-cumin and crushed ginger/garlic until fragrant.
9. Add curry leaves, soy sauce, green chillies, coriander leaves chopped and Ajinomoto.
10. Toss in the fried lollipops.
SERVING
11. Serve immediately.

Editors Review

For all the chicken addict foodies, here is a great idea of snacks. Chicken lollipop is among the best appetizers, you could serve in any party, along with a bowl of red hot chili sauce at the center. The hot and sizzling taste of this snacks is just enduring. In this video, the chef shows different ways to prepare the lollipops, like plain or stuffed and to prepare your own sauce to serve with the lollipops.
