 Onion2 Cup (32 tbs), thinly sliced
 Butter1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (or margarine)
 Chicken livers1⁄2 Pound, halved
 Paprika1 Tablespoon
 Salt1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Dash
 Dairy sour cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Hot cooked rice  (as required)


Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.
Add chicken livers.
Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Slowly brown livers.
Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes or till livers are tender.
Add sour cream; heat through.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
Garnish with parsley, if desired.
