Chicken Livers Gourmet Recipe
|Washington fryer livers||2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Mushrooms/2 cans of 8 ounce each sliced mushrooms, drained||2 Pound, sliced|
|Soy sauce||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Chili sauce||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Sour cream||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|

Saute onion in butter until it begins to brown.
Stir in mushrooms and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add chicken livers and saute quickly until they have lost all pinkness.
Combine soy sauce, chili sauce, sour cream and wine.
Stir into chicken livers and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with hot biscuits, rice seasoned with chicken broth or crepes.
If reheating, do not allow to boil or sour cream will curdle
