Chicken Livers Baked With Rice Recipe
Chicken is an easy to make everyday dish, that can make a great value addition to any menu. whether you are planning your surprise your family for lunch or have a grand party , this chicken livers baked with rice is just right. You would enjoy every moment of cooking and of course eating it
Ingredients
3/4 lb. chicken livers
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3 tbsp. minced onion
3 tbsp. finely chopped celery
1 c. rice
2 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. minced parsley
Directions
Sprinkle livers with salt and pepper; shake in small amount of flour in paper bag.
Brown in butter in skillet; place in 6-cup casserole.
Saute onion, celery and rice in skillet drippings until lightly browned.
Add chicken broth; stir well.
Add parsley; pour over livers.
Cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed; add salt, if needed.
