Chicken Livers And Mushrooms On Toast Recipe
Ingredients
12 chicken livers
1 egg, well beaten
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 10 1/2 oz. can mushrooms in brown gravy
6 slices toast
Directions
Cut chicken livers in half.
Beat egg with Worcestershire sauce, dipping livers in egg mixture.
Roll livers in flour, coating generously.
Melt butter in a skillet; fry livers until golden brown and crisp.
Heat mushroom gravy to the boiling point.
Place chicken livers on toast; spoon gravy over all.
