Chicken Licking Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 to 8 chicken legs, thighs or breasts | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Whole tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 1 can (4 oz.) sliced mush rooms, drained | ||
| Heavy cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Rinse chicken parts and pat dry.
In skillet, melt butter and brown chicken quickly on both sides.
Place chicken in crock pot.
Stir together remaining ingredients except cream and pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours (on high setting for 4 to 5 hours).
Just before serving, stir in heavy cream.
