Chicken Frankfurter Jambalaya Recipe
This Chicken Frankfurter Jambalaya is a wonderful dish to serve to your family and friends. Sometimes I feel amazed about the ease at which I whip up this Chicken Frankfurter Jambalaya and taste it gives out is so inviting that anyone would fall for it. Believe me, this chicken frankfurter combination is worth trying!
Ingredients
8 frankfurters, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 carts stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
2 cups diced cooked chicken or 2 cans boned chicken, diced
1/4 cup diced green pepper
Directions
Saute frankfurters and rice in butter or margarine in a large frying pan, stirring often, until rice is golden.
Stir in tomatoes, water and the garlic salt; place chicken on top; cover.
Simmer, stirring once, 30 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Spoon into a serving bowl; sprinkle with green pepper.
