Buttered Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
6 slices bread, buttered on both sides
2 c. coarsely chopped cooked chicken
1/2 c. celery, cut fine
1 can drained mushrooms
1/2 onion, cut fine
1 c. milk
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 eggs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated hoop cheese
Directions
Put three slices of bread in glass baking dish.
Sprinkle with chicken, celery, mushrooms and onion.
Top with remaining bread.
Mix milk, mayonnaise and eggs; pour over bread.
Put in refrigerator overnight.
Before baking, spread with mushroom soup; sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
