Directions

Place the butter or margarine in a microwave-safe dish large enough to hold the chicken pieces one next to the other and melt 3 minutes at HIGH.
Add the onions, thyme or tarragon and lemon slices to the melted butter.
Stir well.
Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes, stirring once.
This will soften the onions.
Stir well and place the pieces of chicken over the onions.
Pour the cream over all.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the dish with a lid or plastic wrap.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH 20 minutes for chicken breasts, 25 to 28 minutes for chicken legs.
Remove dish from microwave and place chicken on a warm platter.
Strain the onions from the liquid with a perforated spoon.
Place them over the chicken.
To the liquid left in the pan add the flour, mix well.
Add the cream, stir.
Microwave 4 minutes at MEDIUM-HIGH, stirring after 2 minutes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over the chicken and onions.
