Chicken And Taco Chips Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 9 taco shells or 1 (12 ounce) bag taco chips | ||
| 2 whole chicken breasts, cooked, chopped | ||
| Soup rice | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Green tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
Crush taco shells or chips in bowl.
Place layer of chips in bottom of greased 1 quart casserole.
Sprinkle layer of chicken over chips.
Pour several spoonfuls soup over chicken layer.
Sprinkle with layer of cheese.
Pour several spoonfuls tomato and green-chili mixture over cheese layer.
Repeat layering process until all ingredients are used.
Top casserole with additional grated cheese if desired.
Bake 25 minutes at 350°F.
This can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking.
It freezes well before and after baking.
