Chicken And Noodles Recipe
Chicken And Noodles is a simple dish that is a family favorite at home. I often cook this dish for lunch, during weekends so that my husband can enjoy it too. You can also prepare the Chicken And Noodles using this excellent recipe!
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken stock | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 4 Ounce | |
| Sherry | 1/8 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Marjoram | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Chives | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 4 ounces noodles, cooked according, to package directions and well drained | ||
| Cooked chicken | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Butter to grease casserole | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
Directions
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add flour and salt; cook until bubbly.
Gradually stir in chicken stock, milk, and liquid from mushrooms.
Cook and stir until mixture boils and is thickened.
Add sherry, marjoram, and chives.
Mix with noodles, chicken, and mushrooms.
Spoon into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in 350°F toaster oven 20 to 25 minutes
