Chicken Yakitori Kebabs Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken breast halves - 4, boneless, skinless | ||
| Sesame oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 2 | |
| Low sodium soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Cherry tomatoes | 8 | |
| Zucchini | 1 Small | |
| 10-inch wooden skewers- 8, soaked in water and drained | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Nonfat cooking spray | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes.
2 In a flat glass pan, place the chicken cubes.
3 Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4 Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
MAKING
5 On to the skewers alternately thread the chicken, tomatoes and zucchini.
6 Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if required.
7 Grill the skewers horizontally for 7-8 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and zucchini is tender.
SERVING
8 Serve immediately.
