Chicken Yakitori Recipe
Ingredients
| 400 g / 14 oz chicken stir-fry | ||
| 1/2 cup / 120 ml / 4 fl oz soy sauce | ||
| 1/4 cup / 60 g / 2 fl oz honey | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Place chicken in a glass bowl, mix in the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger. Cover, place in refrigerator and allow to marinate for several hours or overnight.
2. Thread chicken onto soaked small bamboo skewers, one or two strips each, using a weaving motion. Brush with marinade.
3. Heat grill or barbecue to high. Grease rack or plate with oil and arrange the skewers in a row. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes on each side, brush with marinade as they cook. Serve immediately.
