Chicken With Spiced Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground coriander | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garam masala | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Natural yogurt | 10 Fluid Ounce (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Tablespoon (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 Tablespoon (4 chicken breasts oil for shallow frying Sauce:) | |
| Grated rind of 1 lemon | ||
| Parsley sprigs | ||

Directions
Combine the coriander, chilli powder, garam masala, salt and lemon juice.
Prick the chicken breasts all over with a fork and rub in the spice and lemon mixture.
Leave to marinate for 4-5 hours.
Drain the chicken pieces and fry them in oil over moderate heat until they are brown all over and cooked through.
Transfer to a serving dish and keep warm.
Meanwhile mix all the ingredients for the sauce and warm over a gentle heat, stirring constantly.
Remove the bay leaf and pour the sauce over the chicken portions.
