Chicken with Ham & Wine Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 chicken breasts halved
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon paprika
 
1 medium-size onion, peeled and sliced
 
1 can deviled ham
 
2 tablespoons dry white wine
 
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard

Directions

1. Wash chicken; dry well. Place, skin side down, in a single layer in a large frying pan; sprinkle with salt and paprika. Place onion slices on top; cover tightly. (No need to add any water.)
2. Cook over low heat 30 minutes. Push onion to side of pan; turn chicken.
3. Blend deviled ham, wine and mustard in a cup; spoon over chicken; cover.
4. Cook 20 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender. Place on a heated serving platter; spoon onion and remaining liquid in pan over top.
