Chicken Teriyaki Recipe
This Chicken Teriyaki tastes incredible ! Try this deliciously spiced and wined chicken for your next meal. I'd like to hear your suggestions for this Chicken Teriyaki.
Ingredients
1 broiler-fryer chicken (2 1/2 to 3 pounds), cut in serving pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sake or dry sherry
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Cut large pieces of chicken in half for uniform size. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Put into a large shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Refrigerate several hours.
2. Arrange chicken pieces in an 8-inch square glass baking dish with thin end toward center and thicker end toward outside. Reserve marinade. Cover with waxed paper.
3. Cook in microwave oven 10 minutes at High. Turn and rearrange chicken pieces. Cover and continue cooking 8 to 10 minutes at High, or
until chicken is tender; rotate dish one-quarter turn once and brush the chicken occasionally with the reserved marinade.
