Chicken Tarragon Soup Recipe

Ingredients

 
3 cans (13 3/4 ounces each) chicken broth
 
1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
 
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1 teaspoon leaf tarragon, crumbled
 
1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
 
1 package (10 ounces) frozen green peas, cooked and drained
 
1 can (7 1/2 ounces) water chestnuts, sliced
 
1/3 cup sliced ripe olives
 
Chopped cooked bacon
 
Diced hard-boiled chopped scallions
 
Cucumber slices

Directions

Combine soup ingredients in a large kettle or Dutch oven; cook over a low flame for 15 minutes.
