Chicken Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 taco shells, warmed | ||
| Lettuce leaves | 8 , shredded | |
| Pepper red | 1 To taste, thinly sliced | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 125 Gram, grated | |
| 1 avocado, stoned, peeled and sliced | ||
| 1/2 cup / 125 g / 4 oz sour cream | ||
| Chicken filling | ||
| Vegetable oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Onions spring | 2 , chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 3 , chopped | |
| 1 kg / 2 lb cooked chicken, skin removed and flesh shredded | ||
| Taco seasoning mix | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 4 tablespoons bottled tomato salsa | ||
Directions
1. To make filling, heat oil in a frying pan, add onion, spring onions and tomatoes and cook, stirring, for 4 minutes. Add chicken, taco seasoning mix and salsa and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes longer or until heated through.
2. Spoon filling into taco shells and top with lettuce, red pepper, cheese, avocado and sour cream.
