Chicken Salad Recipe

Even a bar of chocolate cannot lift my spirits as well as this Chicken Salad. This compelling dish is the Appetizer of choice for a winning meal. This mesmerizing dish is one of the best contribution from the Asian people to my kitchen. The most essential ingredient in dish is always chicken. My family loves Chicken Salad. So will yours!

Ingredients

 
Chicken-1 pullet (4 pounds)
 
Water- 6 cups
 
Onion- 1nos
 
Salt- 1 tablespoon
 
Celery- 1 head
 
Oil- 2 tablespoons
 
Soy Sauce- 2 tablespoons
 
Sugar- 1 teaspoon
 
Pepper- 1/4 teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, combine together the chicken, water, onion and salt.
2) Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
3) Drain and cool the chicken. (The stock can be used to make soup)
4) In a saucepan, cook the celery in ½ cup of stock or water for 1 minute, drain and cool.

FINALIZING
5) In a bowl, mix together the chicken, celery, oil, soy sauce, sugar and pepper.
6) Taste for seasoning.

SERVING
7) Serve the Chicken Salad in a deep salad bowl.
