Chicken Parisienne Recipe
Chicken parisian is a skillet cooked chicken recipe prepared with wine. Coated with a seasoned flour mix, the chicken parisian is flavored with herbs like parsley and thyme along with bouillon cubes. Cooked with a light gravy to it, the chicken parisian is mild and flavorful and can be served with rice or flat noodles.
Ingredients
1/4 cup unsifted flour
1/4 teaspoon each paprika and pepper
6 boneless chicken breast halves, skinned
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons Chicken-Flavor Instant Bouillon or 2 Chicken-Flavor Bouillon Cubes
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
Directions
In paper or plastic bag, combine flour, paprika and pepper.
Add chicken, a few pieces at a time; shake to coat.
In large skillet, brown chicken in margarine on both sides; remove from pan.
In skillet, add remaining ingredients; simmer 3 minutes.
Add chicken; simmer covered 20 minutes or until tender.
Refrigerate leftovers.
