Chicken Paprika Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 4 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Oleo | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Whole chicken breasts - 4 (or use 2 broiler size chickens) | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Paprika | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet, add oleo and heat for a while.
2) Add onions in hot oil and saute, till tender.
3) Meanwhile, cut the chicken in half.
4) Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
5) In the skillet, brown the chicken lightly.
6) To this, add paprika and lemon juice.
7) Cover tight. Cook over low heat, until the chicken turns soft.
8) Remove the chicken and keep it aside, hot.
9) To the skillet, add flour.
10) To the flour, add sour cream, stirring often over low heat until the mix is smooth and consistent.
11) Adjust seasonings to taste.
12) Now, pour this sauce over the cooked chicken.
SERVING
13) Serve hot with noodles or rice.
