Chicken & Mushroom Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups water
1 can or 1 envelope chicken noodle soup mis
1 can or 1 envelope cream of mushroom soup mix
1/2 cup sliced pared carrots
1/4 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 can (5 or 6 ounces) boned chicken, diced
3 cups light or table cream
Directions
1. Heat water to boiling in a large saucepan; stir in soup mixes until blended, then carrots, celery and green pepper.
2. Heat to boiling; simmer 10 minutes.
3. Stir in chicken and cream; heat very slowly just until bubbly.
4. Ladle into heated soup plates or bowls.
