Chicken Manchurian Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 chicken cut into 1" square pieces
EGG BATTER
1 egg
1 1/2 tbsp cornflour
1 1/2 tbsp plain flour
Salt & pepper to taste
MANCHURIAN SAUCE
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp crushed ginger
2 tbsp crushed garlic
2 tbsp crushed green chillies
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 cup chicken stock or 1 cup water mixed with 1 chicken seasoning
Cube
1 tsp sherry optional
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ajinomoto
2-3 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Directions
Mix all ingredients of the batter.
Dip the chicken pieces in the batter, deep fry till golden brown.
Keep aside.
For the manchurian sauce, heat oil in a wok .
Lightly fry garlic and ginger till they just change colour.
Add green chillies and coriander leaves.
Mix.
Reduce heat, add chicken stock, soya sauce, sherry, salt, sugar, pepper and ajinomoto.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add cornflour mixed with water and give one boil.
Add fried chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes.
