Chicken Livers With Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 medium-sized onions, cut into eighths
1 pound chicken livers, trimmed
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup plain yogurt
Directions
1. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet and saute the onions until tender. Push the onions to one side of the pan and add the livers. Brown quickly over high heat, turning frequently, a few at a time if the pan is not large enough for a single layer. Cook over medium heat until the livers are browned but still pink in the middle. Do not overcook.
