Chicken Livers In Coconut Milk Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Dried Ground Chili Peppers- 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Chicken livers | 1 1/2 Pound, diced | |
| Peanuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Orange juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Grated Lemon Rind- 1 tablespoon | ||
| Coconut milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, combine peanuts, salt, sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, lemon rind and coconut milk.
2) In a skillet melt the butter, sauté onions, garlic and chilli peppers for 5 minutes.
3) Add in the livers and sauté until no pink remains.
FINALIZING
4) Mix in the peanut mixture.
5) Simmer for 10 minutes stirring frequently.
SERVING
6) Serve hot on the bed of steamed rice.
