Chicken Livers And Mushrooms On Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
8 pieces of bacon, partially cooked, cut into thirds
24 chicken livers
24 mushrooms, stems removed
Salt and fresh pepper
1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
Wrap the bacon pieces around the livers.
Thread the livers alternately with the mushrooms on each of 6 skewers.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Roll the skewers in the melted butter.
Place on rack over baking pan and broil 2 inches from unit for 5-10 minutes or until nice and brown.
Turn once or twice to broil evenly.
For outdoor grill, cook 4 inches from hot coals, turning and basting frequently, for 5-10 minutes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
